Microsoft released an application that analyzes map data to provide the user with three-dimensional visualization of various local landmarks. It is now available for HoloLens and Windows Mixed Reality headsets only.
Outings allow you to look for high-quality travel stories about beautiful places that are uploaded from travel blogs and other resources. No matter whether you are interested in adventures, historical places, city life, precious stones or new acquaintances, the application will pick the perfect options for you.
Outings is most likely to use data contained in Bing Maps, which in its turn works on the HERE mapping consortium.
You can test the application for free in the Microsoft store right now, but to use it, do not forget that you will need a Windows Mixed Reality or HoloLens headset.
