INDE celebrates the launch of the 200th installation with augmented reality

One of the first projects for the British INDE was a wide-screen AR-experience for National Geographic in 2011. Since then, INDE has become a fully integrated developer of augmented reality technology for more than 200 mobile, open and widescreen AR systems worldwide. Its client list includes the Smithsonian Institution, the BBC, NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox, WWF and many others.

Under the banner of Experience Engineering, INDE is creating interactive solutions using advanced technologies - mostly augmented reality, computer vision and motion capture technology. They provide a unique opportunity to create next-generation platforms that completely change the culture of digital content consumption, interaction of people with the surrounding world and with each other.

"AR is a change, this is how we will use digital content in the future. Now we move from broadcasting / content consumption from 2D to 3D space. AR offers a unique way to integrate digital data into the real world to create a new computing platform. Fully integrated, advanced devices on the glass surface will replace the mobile phone in less than 10 years, " Alex Poulson, CEO of INDE says.
