Manufacturers of children’s 3D puzzles are starting to use AR

Ugears company, the manufacturer of wooden 3D mechanical model kits, chose Live Animations to create augmented reality and here is the project called Ugears AR STEM. STEM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM models are easy to assemble. Such models help everyone (even a child) to understand how complicated mechanisms work.

This case combines the capabilities of two AR technologies:

WebAR - after scanning the QR code on the package, one can see how the assembled model will look like. This will give the potential buyers a more complete picture of the product and massively simplify their purchase decision.

MobileAR is an interactive mobile application that shows how the assembled mechanism work and its various applications in real life. This part of the project aims to increase customer loyalty and boost repeat sales.
